Here’s a little tour of our new place. I took these photos before the movers arrived and filled the place with all of our STUFF! Hopefully, in a few weeks or so, I can post the “after” pictures showing us all moved in. Until then, come and see our new place…
The view from the front door
Looking back at the front door from the guest room. There is a bathroom to the immediate right of the front door. The living room is through the entrance on the left.
The Living Room. If you keep walking straight, you are in the kitchen. The window on the right looks out to the front patio where the boys like to ride on the tractor. On the left is the entrance into the family room.
Kitchen. What looks like a middle shelf on the far left is the refrigerator. The window looks out to the front patio. We have a dishwasher to the left of the sink.
The Dining Area is attached to the kitchen. We plan to freshen up the walls with a coat of white paint. The door and window look out to the yard in the back of the house.
The Family Room off of the Living Room
The room we are going to transform into a Guest Room. I’m standing in the Family Room taking the picture.
There are three floors to the house. The door to the right of the staircase leads to the basement that we will mostly use for storage. The guest room is to the right of the basement.
Upstairs Hallway that leads out to a balcony. The door on the right is a very small bathroom. Washing your face is a bit awkward! I’m standing in the boys’ room taking the picture. The entrance to the Master Bedroom is on the left.

The Play/Reading Room. Eventually, we plan to change out the purple wall.
This is the Play/Reading Room from another angle. Interestingly, this room does not have an exit to the hallway. The door on the left leads to the Master Bedroom. The door on the right leads to the boys’ room.
